Friday, May 27, 2005 10:00 a.m. Braving high water levels, and a change in boat launch, 60 anglers left the shores in Emo to fish in the fourth annual Classic this morning. After a stirring rendition of Canadian and American national anthems by Renee Martin, as well as a welcome by Reeve Russ Fortier, the anglers shot down the river in both directions, looking for the big catch of the day. And there will be lots happening at the Emo-Lavallee Arena this afternoon, with the weigh-ins starting at 4:00, the Calder Women spaghetti feast at 5:30, and the Emo Walleyedol vocal competition at 7:00 tonight! See the schedule of events to find out what's happening Friday and Saturday – and see the webcam courtesy of Home Satellite Systems from the tournament today and tomorrow!
