On one of the hottest days of this spring so far, Bill Godin and Ralph Galusha of Devlin, Ontario, turned out to be the hottest, with a one-day catch of 9.62 pounds tot ake the lead at the 2014 Emo Walleye Classic. Godin and Galusha had four fish for the day, though the big fish for the day was taken by  2012 champions Rod Woodgate and Dylan Swire, weighing in at 3.45 pounds. All but one team came back from the river today with fish in their live wells, and tomorrow has the potential to be even better. Tune in to www.emowalleye.com for the live updates via Twitter, Facebook and live video — or even better, come down to the Emo/LaVallee Arena and enjoy all the events for kids and adults alike, including the kids activity centre, the inflatable rides, the penny table and the beer garden.

See you at the launch tomorrow in Emo at 8am — and the weigh-ins at 3:30pm!
